KINGDOM KIDS
At HFTW we are building Kingdom Kids who will change “business as usual” in their schools, cities and nations of the world.
OUR MISSION:
HFTW Kids Church is the funnest, safest, most God-filled hour of a kid’s week.
WE BELIEVE:
Parents are the most important influence in the spiritual training of their children. We consider it a privilege to partner with parents in building the lives of their kids for Kingdom love and Kingdom service.
WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT?
At HFTW, children are valued, respected and loved. We believe in taking shame and labels off of kids. We communicate our heart and care for them by:
- Anticipating your arrival as a family
- Greeting you warmly
- Assisting you with Kid Check
- Taking allergies and diaper changes seriously. Allergies will be documented at Kid Check. Permission for a diaper change must be signed at the nursery door.
Escorting all new families to necessary drop-offs for their kids
You will be notified if there is any accident, excessive crying, or some concern regarding your child.
We will love your kids just as they are.
WHAT KIDS CAN EXPECT?
HFTW Kids Zone has a large and small group model.
LARGE GROUP INCLUDES
Fun, engaging worship
Welcome and offering
Creative storytelling and dramas
SMALL GROUP ACTIVITIES:
Activities, games and crafts
Kids Café: a “snack-tivity” that reinforces the lesson
God moments and prayer
Positive friendships
SAFETY:
All teachers and volunteers are screened with background checks
All nurseries and classes have at least 2 or more workers
A wellness policy is enforced
“Kid Check” check-in and check-out software is used
WHAT DO WE ASK OF PARENTS?
To be the primary faith influencers of their children; to make growing in Christ a fun, family thing; and to work together with us to raise up a generation of KINGDOM KIDS!
