"Enlarge the place of your tent, and let the curtains of your habitations be stretched out; do not hold back; lengthen your cords and strengthen your stakes."

Isaiah 54:2-3

Heart For The World Church

Twenty-seven years ago, a handful of people invested in a dream to start Heart for the World and its mission to love people to life in Jesus’ name here and in the nations. God has done amazing things! All of us have benefited from what God did through their sacrifice. We believe it is now our turn to invest in the next generation.

We will be taking up a special HFTW Legacy Offering during this month of December beginning on our Legacy Vision Sunday, December 10, 2023. I want to especially take this opportunity to thank all of you who have gave so generously in last year’s legacy offering and to our missions and compassion giving this year. Truly your generosity has been extravagant.

Our legacy offering includes four “Legacy Lanes”

There is no pressure for you to give. We simply would like you to ask the Lord what He wants you to give. Whether He speaks to you to make a one-time donation or a faith commitment for the coming year, we encourage you to obey the Lord. I will be sharing more on this vision in my sermon on December 10, I invite you to hear it by coming to church or watching online. We will dedicate our whole offering that Sunday to this Legacy fund.

Thank you again for your partnership,

With all our love,

Pastor Dale and Sharon Walker

Local Outreach

This legacy lane is to love people to life in our own church family and local community. Each month we give generously from our compassion fund to help the widows, orphans, sick, houseless and those who have experienced a crisis or loss and need urgent help. We help hundreds through our food pantry.

One of the radical steps we feel God has called us to is to enlarge the harvest we gather by starting a new Heart for the World Campus in the Sonoma Ranch area of Las Cruces. We also believe this year God wants to help us pay off the remaining $175,000 balance on our building loan, so that we can dedicate an additional $12000 a month to ministry.

Regional Missions

Regional missions are our outreaches in the borderland area, including El Paso, Juarez, Palomas and other surrounding towns. We are presently involved in helping a crisis shelters for refugees and asylum seekers on both sides of the borders.

Global Missions

We are actively involved in our mission to empower pastors, “Hidden Heroes”, who are serving the poorest of the poor in the Philippines, U.S., Mexico, Zambia, Honduras, Lithuania, Cuba, and Peru. Our global mission fund also includes supporting over 20 missionaries and providing disaster relief and support.

Our vision for our outreach and missions for this year, 2024 is greater than any year in past. There has been a special word on our hearts to “accelerate the harvest.”

This legacy lane is called Heart for the World Foundation.

We have set up an interest-bearing account to support these and other missions in perpetuity. We believe God will use this account to help our children’s children go into the nations long after we’re in Heaven. If you would be interested in setting up a specific legacy fund as a business or family vision, please contact us.

As a foundation, we were able to provide many grants including a very special grant to help put a down payment on an incredible property in Davao Philippines as a mission hub in our partnership with Vineyard Davao. This mission hub will consolidate numerous ministries for evangelism, church planting, and outreach, as well as being a hub for HFTW’s very own School of Missions and ministry.
