El Calvario Church, led by Alvaro and Graciela Ayala is recognized for its deep commitment to church planting, having successfully helped establish four new churches in surrounding communities. The church also serves as the central hub for our Mexican nonprofit partner, Iniciativa Compasión (See Organizatoins we’re proud to support)

Since 2016, Heart for the World has been honored to partner with El Calvario Church through annual mission trips that continue to bring transformation and hope to the region. These trips have opened the door to a wide range of ministry opportunities. One of the highlights is Huatabampo Impacto, a regional church conference that gathers believers from across the area for encouragement, vision, and empowerment. We also hold pastors’ conferences that serve around 50 local pastors and leaders, equipping them for greater impact in their communities.

In addition, these missions have led to powerful public worship concerts, meaningful street evangelism, and heartfelt outreach in jails, hospitals, and rehabilitation centers, where we minister to approximately 150 patients each year. Our teams also host six vibrant children’s events across the city, reaching around 200 kids regularly with food, games, love, and prayer.
