THIS WEEK'S FOCUS
In today’s lesson, we want to learn how to go from a person who just hears the voices of people, their own minds, and circumstances around them to a person who learns how to accurately hear the voice of God within them.
MEMORY VERSE
“Whether you turn to the right or to the left your ears will hear a voice behind you saying, “This is the way walk in it.” (Isaiah 30:21 NIV)
OUTLINE

2. What do you think is something that often “blocks the channel” for you to hear from God?
-
Distraction
-
Worry, fear, stress
-
Selfish desires
-
Wanting to please people
-
Natural logic and reason
3. What is a way that God has most often spoken to you in the past?
-
Scriptures
-
Other people
-
Pictures in your mind
-
Words that come out of your own mouth you didn’t plan to say

Intuitions

4. Think of stories in the gospel where Jesus words changed the situation. What is one example of that from a story in the Bible that you most would like Him to repeat and speak into your situation today?
-
A storm that needs to be stilled
-
Something dead that needs to come alive
-
Something broken that needs to be healed
-
Confusion that needs to be cleared with insight or wisdom
-
Opposition that needs to become opportunity
-
Tragedy that needs comfort and triumph
